Sea to Sea painters just finished the repaint of a beautiful executive home in Langley. The job required some very skilled drywall repair as the customers stairwell ceiling had five pot lights removed and a new chandelier installed. The old pot light holes had to be closed up with new drywall and then filled, sanded and painted. Being a flat ceiling with a high window letting in natural light the repair required exceptional skill and attention to detail. Flat ceilings are notoriously difficult to repair and when you add in natural light shining on the ceiling your repair must be absolutely flawless.
Creative Ideas make ordinary rooms extraordinary
This home featured several unique colors including a nice creamy gray shade on the ceilings and Benjamin Moore’s manchester tan in satin (instead of semi-gloss) on the trim and doors. Adding some color or tone to your ceilings and trim is a creative way to make an everyday ordinary room look more sophisticated. Simple flat white ceilings and plain white semi-gloss trim is traditional but let your creative juices flow and try something different on your ceilings and trim!
